Angelina Chapa

Angelina Chapa, mother to two growing boys, is a strong advocate for students and their families. She is a native to Wichita Falls, attended the public schools as a youth, moved away for college, and returned home 18 years ago. A graduate of the University of Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and a graduate of Midwestern State University with a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Bilingual Education, Angelina has dedicated her work-life to education and the community. With 20 years in the field of education, her career includes serving as a Bilingual Education Specialist at the regional level, teaching bilingual elementary students, conducting adult English as a Second Language classes, training teachers and administrators in best practices for English Learners, and presenting family literacy programs for the community. She is extremely passionate about connecting with communities, especially parents, and has worked closely with grassroots organizations to promote a college-bound culture and quality educational practices for all students.
