Dr. Stephanie Zamora-Robles

Stephanie Zamora Robles is an Assistant Professor of Curriculum and Learning at Midwestern State University. Prior to MSU, Dr. Zamora Robles worked for the Wichita Falls Independent School District for 11 years. During her last 5 years with the district, she served as an assistant principal at the middle school level. Dr. Zamora Robles is passionate about leadership and equity for all students and believes the middle school years are critical as they serve as the last opportunity to engage students before high school. She has served on different leadership teams, including two campus leadership teams that successfully helped turn around campuses identified Improvement Required by the Texas Education Agency. She is an active learner and contributor in her community and has served in different leadership capacities outside of the workplace. These roles included serving as President of the Bilingual Education Student Organization at Midwestern State University, Vice President of the Zavala Hispanic Cultural Initiative, Community Health Care Center board member, Amo Leer committee member and volunteer for Cafe con Leche. She was awarded the Region 9, 2018-2019 Assistant Principal of the Year, by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals, was named a state finalist, and currently serves as a member of the Texas Study Committee for the Texas Association of Secondary Principals.
