Dr. Kym Acuña

Dr. Kym Acuña has over 19 years of educational experience in schools as a teacher, principal, and college professor.  She is an Associate Professor of Educational Leadership at Midwestern State University. Her areas of expertise are personal and school leadership, character education, student success, and service learning. She serves on the board of Zavala Hispanic Cultural Initiative. She has published various articles relating to student success. She has a Ed.D in Educational Leadership, Administration and Policy from Pepperdine University, Masters in Education with a concentration in cognition from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, and a Bachelors in Sociology and Political Science from Ouachita Baptist University.
